  a few weeks ago, a couple of my coworkers and I had an unforgettably horrible experience. Our server Leah, who must have been new, took 20 minutes to greet us at our table. She then proceeded to get our order. Going in late night at Applebee's, we expected slow service so we were ready with our entire order. About 35 minutes later we still had not received our drinks from the bar. It would have been longer but I decided to go to the bar and get them myself. The bartender Andy was a huge help and got them for us right away! While at the bar I seen all of our drinks, DEAD, on the servers side of the bar. She had forgotten all about them and then lied to us about how the bartenders never made them. We are now almost an hour into our meal and still haven't gotten our food. I order a Caesar salad to come before the meal, and no sign of that either. About 1hr and 15minutes after we ordered, our food had finally arrived. All of it was good and cooked correctly, but that wasn't the problem. Leah kept making excuses and was not apologetic at all. At the time we were her only table and instead of trying to resolve the problem, she was sitting on her phone 2 booths away in plain sight. A manager never stopped by to apologize either. Nothing was taken off of the bill. It was the worst experience of my life, as a server of a nearby restaurant, I would have lost my job if I were her. It was despicable! I will never return to the applebees!
